Norman Booth Paddling Pool and Play Park

If you’ve got kids and it’s anywhere near warm, this place fills up fast — and for good reason. The paddling pool is the main draw, with two different depths so toddlers and older kids can both get involved without anyone feeling out of their depth (literally). There’s shaded seating, benches, and picnic tables dotted around, so parents can actually sit and relax rather than hovering the whole time. The open grass field gives kids room to run between dips, and if you time it right, the ice cream van is usually parked up nearby. A proper Harlow summer afternoon sorted.
