Darley Playing Fields

If you’re local to Harrogate and haven’t made it to Darley Playing Fields yet, you’re missing out. The café is genuinely good — proper cups of tea, friendly staff who actually seem pleased to see you, the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned. Kids and adults both get something out of it here, whether that’s a kickabout on the football pitch, shooting hoops on the basketball court, or just sprawling on the open grass. Parking and toilets on site too, which makes a real difference when you’re wrangling a family.
