If you’re local to Hayle and haven’t taken the kids here yet, sort that out. The bird sanctuary is genuinely impressive — lorikeet feeding is a highlight that never gets old, and the animal talks are worth timing your visit around. There’s a play train the little ones will want to ride repeatedly, plus an indoor play area for when the Cornish weather does what it does. It’s one of those rare places that actually teaches kids something without feeling like a school trip. Parking on site makes the whole thing considerably less stressful.
