Riverlands Play Area

If you’ve not taken the kids to Riverlands on a warm afternoon, you’re missing out. The paddling stream is the real draw — little ones will spend hours in there while you actually get to sit down at one of the picnic tables and relax for five minutes. There’s a decent open grass field for running off energy, and the pond nearby makes it a genuinely lovely spot to hang around longer than planned. Free parking takes the stress out of it, and you’re only a short walk from the high street when someone inevitably starts asking for ice cream.
