Locals with little ones tend to gravitate here because the enclosed play area actually does its job — no anxious sprinting after a toddler who’s spotted the exit. The swings are the main draw for the younger crowd, and parents seem to appreciate being able to sit back and actually see what their kids are up to without craning their necks. The open grass field gives dogs and kids plenty of room to do their thing without getting in each other’s way. It’s kept tidy, which isn’t always a given in spots that allow dogs, so that’s worth mentioning.
