Promenade Water Fountains

If you’re local, you already know how good the sunset looks from this stretch of the promenade — and the water fountains give the kids something to actually do while you stand there watching it. The splash area is well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every spot along this coast, and the open grass gives little ones room to run between soakings. Benches mean you’re not just standing around, and with the beach right there you can easily make a full afternoon of it. Best for toddlers and young children, though honestly the views across Morecambe Bay are worth the trip on their own.
