If you’re doing a Sunday roast with the kids in tow, this place genuinely delivers — the garden is big enough that they can actually run around and burn off some energy while you finish your drink in peace. There’s a swing set for the little ones, and an open grass field that gives older kids (up to around 10) plenty of room to tear about. Parking’s easy enough, which matters when you’re loading and unloading a family. It’s a proper country pub, not a theme park bolted onto a restaurant, so manage expectations on the play equipment front — but honestly, the combo of decent food and outdoor space is hard to beat around here.
