Hockley woods playground

If you’re heading into Hockley Woods anyway, the playground makes it an easy full morning out with the kids. The gated enclosure is properly secure, which takes the stress out of it when you’ve got little ones who like to bolt. Equipment is kept in decent nick, which isn’t always a given around here. There’s usually a coffee van on site, so you’re not stuck waiting it out with nothing — and the parking right there means you’re not lugging everything halfway through the woods before anyone’s even had a go on the swings.
