Horsham Park Play Area

One of the better playgrounds in West Sussex, this one actually delivers on variety — zipline, merry go round, climbing structure, swings, slides, seesaw, and a proper sandbox that younger kids will happily disappear into for an hour. The Kompan equipment is sturdy and well-maintained, which you notice pretty quickly if you’ve spent time at scrappier parks in the area. Benches are dotted around sensibly, so parents aren’t left hovering with nowhere to sit. The open grass gives older kids room to run off once they’ve done the circuit, and the Pavilions sports centre right next door means toilets and a cafe are genuinely close — not a ten-minute walk close, actually close. Good for a half-day out with mixed ages.
