High Ham Playing Field

Locals know this one’s worth the trip — there’s a proper bike track here that kids actually want to use, not just a painted loop nobody bothers with. The zipline is the real draw though, and you’ll usually find a queue for it on a decent afternoon. Beyond the equipment, there’s just a generous stretch of open field that gives everyone room to do their own thing, whether that’s a kickabout or just letting younger ones run themselves tired. Good spot for a mixed-age group where not everyone wants the same thing.
