If you’re looking for somewhere local to get a decent kickaround or shoot some hoops without spending a fortune, this place delivers. The football pitches get proper use from local clubs and casual groups alike, and the basketball court is solid for a quick session after work or school. Martial arts sessions run here too, which makes it more versatile than your average community spot. It’s not the flashiest facility in London — some bits are showing their age — but honestly, that’s half the charm, and the prices reflect it. Islington locals have been using it for years for good reason.
