Tumbling Bay is one of those playgrounds that actually delivers on the hype — the sand and water play areas alone will keep kids occupied for way longer than you’d expect. The slides are decent, the swings get busy on weekends so arrive early if you want a turn without waiting around. It’s an urban spot but feels a bit removed from the usual city noise, and being close to the beach gives the whole visit a relaxed, unhurried feel. Best suited for kids roughly 2 to 12, though the younger ones tend to gravitate toward the sandbox while older kids make a beeline for the climbing and slides.
