Honestly one of the better spots in Loughborough if you’ve got kids of different ages — the play area covers everything from baby-friendly swings to slides and tunnels that’ll keep older ones busy too. It backs onto some decent trails near the forest, and there’s a pond close by that makes the walking path feel like more of a proper outing than just laps around a field. The open grass gets used hard but holds up well, and the fact that there’s actual parking and toilets on site puts it ahead of a lot of local parks. Dog walkers are out in force most mornings, which gives it a lively but relaxed feel — quiet neighborhood, no real through-traffic, so it doesn’t feel chaotic even when it’s busy.
