Honestly one of the better playgrounds in this part of Manchester — the kit is solid, with slides, swings, a merry-go-round, and a climbing structure that actually keeps kids busy past the five-minute mark. The water feature is a proper bonus on warm days, and the whole place sits right near the trails and pond, so it feels a lot greener than you’d expect for an urban spot. Parents can actually relax here — good visibility throughout, shade trees, picnic tables, and the loos are kept in decent nick. There’s open grass for a kickabout too, and parking nearby means you’re not doing a 10-minute walk from the car with a toddler. It covers the 2-12 age range well, and it’s the kind of place you end up staying at longer than planned.
