The pirate ship alone makes this place worth a stop — kids go absolutely feral for it, and honestly it holds up well against fancier playgrounds I’ve taken mine to. It’s set on sand rather than that rubberised matting you get everywhere now, which the little ones love even if you’ll be emptying shoes for the rest of the day. There’s a decent spread of equipment too: slides and swings for the younger ones, climbing ropes and bridges to keep the older kids busy enough that they stop asking to leave. The gate is a proper relief when you’ve got a bolter — you can actually sit on one of the benches and drink a coffee without that low-level panic. Toilets nearby as well, which if you’re a parent you know is basically the whole game.
