Fordhall Community Land Initiative

If you’ve not been to Fordhall yet, you’re genuinely missing out on one of the better days out in the Market Drayton area. It’s a working community farm, so don’t expect manicured play equipment — what you get instead is open grass, space to actually run around, and walking paths that take you out into proper Shropshire countryside. Grab something from Arthur’s Farm Kitchen before you head out, because the organic cafe is honestly reason enough to visit on its own. There’s a farm shop too, stocked with local produce, and the whole place is run as a community venture with a real sense of purpose behind it. Parking on site makes it easy with kids in tow.
