Irnham Road Playground

Irnham Road had a solid refurb not too long ago and it shows — the equipment is in good nick and there’s actually stuff worth coming for if you’ve got little ones under five. Swings, slides, a decent climbing frame, and enough open grass that kids can properly burn off energy without you constantly watching them dodge into traffic. The basketball court and football pitch are a real bonus, especially on weekends when the older kids take over one end while the toddlers do their thing at the other. It’s a proper community spot rather than just a token patch of tarmac, which you don’t always get in a town this size. Shade’s decent too, so you won’t be squinting into the sun the whole time you’re there.
