The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids go absolutely mad for it, and there’s usually a queue forming on weekends. It’s a solid, well-kept rec ground with a proper football pitch and loads of open grass if you just need space to run around or kick a ball about. Parking’s easy, there are loos on site, and the BBQ area means you can actually make a proper afternoon of it rather than just a quick visit. Honestly one of the better set-ups in the area for a full family day out without having to overthink it.
