Locals know this one’s a solid choice for a full afternoon out — the fenced play area keeps younger kids contained while the zipline gives older ones something to actually get excited about. Benches are well-positioned so you can keep an eye on things without hovering, and parking makes the whole trip less of a faff. The football pitch and basketball court get proper use from the community, not just sitting empty like at some parks. There’s plenty of open grass for dogs to have a run around too, which is half the reason people end up here on weekday mornings. It’s well maintained, which sounds basic but genuinely isn’t a given round here.
