They’ve done a proper job with the refurb here — the enclosed play area is well-kitted out and the fencing means you’re not constantly chasing kids toward the car park. Grab one of the picnic tables and you’ve actually got a decent spot to sit while the little ones do their thing. The basketball court gets decent use from older kids, and there’s plenty of open grass for a kickabout. Parking’s easy enough, and the farmland views give it a bit of breathing room that a lot of town parks just don’t have.
