The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids who’ve outgrown the baby swings absolutely love it, and there’s a solid climbing structure to keep them busy between turns. It backs right onto the forest trails, so you can let older ones roam a bit while younger siblings play. Plenty of shade from the trees means it’s actually bearable on a warm day, which Newcastle doesn’t get often enough to waste. The open grass field gives everyone room to spread out, and the walking path is great if you want to stretch your legs without going far. Parking’s easy, benches are well-placed — honestly one of the better-set-up spots in the area for kids six and up.
