Memorial Gardens Play Area

Honestly one of the better playgrounds in Newmarket — the castle-themed climbing structure is a proper centrepiece and keeps older kids occupied for ages, while the little ones have their own dedicated corner with a sandbox so nobody’s getting trampled. Come summer, the splash park is the main event and it gets busy fast, so arrive early if you want a good spot. There’s a zipline, musical equipment, and a water feature on top of all that, which is a lot for one park. The grounds are genuinely well maintained, and with picnic tables and a big open grass field, you can easily make an afternoon of it.
