If you need space to actually run around without bumping into someone, this is one of the better spots in Newport for it. The football pitches get decent use on weekends, but during the week you’ve pretty much got the place to yourself. Good for a kickabout, letting the dog loose, or just getting the kids out of the house for an hour. It’s not fancy, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
