Lappa Valley

If you’re anywhere near Newquay with kids in tow, Lappa Valley is genuinely one of those places that earns its reputation. The play area covers the classics — slides, swings, a climbing structure, merry-go-round — but the musical equipment scattered around gives it a bit of personality you don’t get at your average park. Ages 3 to 12 are well catered for, and the train rides are honestly half the appeal, especially for younger ones who lose their minds over them. Staff here are actually helpful, which sounds like a low bar but you’d be surprised. For a full day out in Cornwall without remortgaging the house, it’s hard to argue with.
