Sharnfold Farm

If you’re local to Pevensey and haven’t taken the kids to Sharnfold Farm yet, you’re missing out on one of the better family days in the area. There’s a solid enclosed play area with slides, swings, a sandbox, and a play train that keeps the little ones busy while you actually get to sit down — shaded benches and picnic tables mean you’re not standing around in the sun the whole time. The flower fields are genuinely pretty and worth a wander, and the animal encounters are a hit with toddlers especially. With a bike track, walking paths, and open grass nearby forest trails, older kids have room to roam too. Prices are reasonable for what you get, the facilities are well kept, and there’s parking, loos, and a baby changing station — so the practical stuff is covered.
