Brittons Playing Field

Locals know this place as one of the better free days out in Rainham — decent-sized recreation field, no parking hassle, and enough to keep kids entertained without having to bribe them to leave. The play area covers the classics: slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a merry-go-round that the under-10s absolutely love. There’s a soccer field and open grass beyond that, so older kids can burn off energy while younger ones are safely contained in the enclosed play area. The trails near the forest edge are worth a wander if you fancy stretching your legs after. With a skatepark and outdoor gym on site too, it’s genuinely one of those spots that works for the whole family, not just the little ones.
