Broadfield Park

Right in the middle of Rochdale, Broadfield Park is one of those spots that locals genuinely rely on — not because it’s flashy, but because it’s well-kept and easy to enjoy. The kids’ area has slides and swings that suit the younger ones up to around 12, and there’s enough green space around it that you’re not sitting on top of other families. A pond nearby gives it a bit of character, and the walking paths are clean enough that you’d happily push a buggy round without issue. It’s a solid picnic spot too — people set up here on weekends and it never feels chaotic.
