Honestly, The Rype is one of those spots that reminds you why Romney Marsh has such a loyal local following. It’s a proper village green — open grass, room to actually run around, the kind of space that’s getting harder to find. They’ve been adding new play kit for the kids recently, which has made a real difference for families coming down. And when there’s a community event on, it’s well run — none of that half-hearted bunting-and-hope-for-the-best stuff you get elsewhere.
