Seafield Gardens

Right on the seafront in Seaton, this is one of those spots where you can actually let the kids loose and relax for five minutes. The play area covers the basics — slides and swings for the under-12s — but the dinosaur crazy golf is what really gets them excited, and honestly it’s a decent laugh for adults too. There’s proper parking, shade trees for when the sun actually shows up, and toilets on site, which matters more than people admit. Walk the path, kick a ball on the grass, or drag the grown-ups over to the outdoor gym while the views out toward the sea do most of the work. It’s well-kept, it’s free to wander, and for a small seaside town this packs in a surprising amount.
