There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and climbing gear that keeps the under-12s busy for a good stretch, and the open grass field gives them room to properly run it out. Picnic tables under the shade trees make it easy to settle in for a longer visit, and the whole site is kept in decent nick. Just plan ahead on the toilet front — there aren’t any, which is the one thing locals will warn you about before you make the trip.
