The Ham Play Area

Right by the seafront in Sidmouth, this play area is one of those spots that actually delivers on its promise. The equipment is genuinely newer than what you’ll find at most parks in the area — slides, a decent climbing structure, and a sandpit that kids absolutely lose themselves in. It’s well kept too, which makes a real difference when you’re trying to enjoy a day out without grimacing at the state of things. Honestly, if you’re already down at the beach, it’s barely a two-minute walk and worth every step.
