Black Park is already worth the trip on its own, but the Emma Sallis Adventure Playground makes it a proper day out. You’ve got slides, swings, tunnels, and a decent sandpit — enough to keep kids busy while you actually get a moment to breathe. The woodland backdrop and the lake nearby give it a proper outdoorsy feel that most playgrounds in the area just can’t match. There’s a cafe close by too, which honestly makes all the difference when you’ve got little ones who run out of energy before you run out of afternoon.
