Charlton Adam Playground

If you’re local to Somerton, you probably already know about this one — and if you don’t, it’s worth the trip. The open grass field is genuinely massive, the kind where kids can just run until they tire themselves out and dog walkers have plenty of room to do their thing without getting in anyone’s way. Play equipment keeps the younger ones busy while the grown-ups actually get to stand around and chat, which the locals here are more than happy to do. Parking’s not an issue either, which makes a difference when you’ve got a car full of kids and all their stuff.
