Tucked into Wygate Park, this little spot gets a lot of love from local kids despite being pretty basic — just swings and a slide, but somehow that’s enough to keep them happy. That said, it’s showing its age, and a few bits are in need of some proper attention rather than the usual patch-and-ignore approach. Parents who bring their little ones regularly will know exactly which parts to steer clear of. It’s not going to win any awards, but the kids don’t seem to care — they’re back every weekend regardless. A bit of investment would go a long way here.
