Broughton Recreation Ground

If you’ve got kids under ten and want somewhere you can actually relax for five minutes, this rec ground does the job well. The play area is properly enclosed, so you’re not constantly chasing little ones toward the road — swings, slides, and a climbing structure keep them occupied while you grab a spot at the picnic tables. Beyond the fenced bit, there’s a football field and basketball court that older kids tend to gravitate toward once they’ve grown out of the playground side. It’s a quiet part of Stockbridge, nothing flashy, but the space is well-maintained and feels like locals actually take pride in it.
