Central Forest Park – Playground

If you’re local to Hanley, you already know Central Forest Park is one of those places that just works for everyone. There’s a solid playground for the kids, a bike track, and a skate area — so teens actually want to come here too, which isn’t easy to pull off. The lake nearby makes the whole place feel a bit more open and relaxed than your average urban park, and the walking paths are well worth a lap or two while the little ones burn off energy. Bring a picnic, there are tables and plenty of shade trees to grab a spot under. Parking’s easy enough, which in Stoke is half the battle.
