Rixon Recreation Ground

Locals know this one as a decent little spot for getting the kids out without the chaos of a busier park. The climbing structure keeps younger ones occupied, and the open grass field means there’s room to actually run around — or kick a ball about if you bring one. It’s a quiet part of Sturminster Newton, so you’re not dealing with a lot of through traffic or noise. Nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point.
