Sand Pit Park

Locals with young kids know this one well — it’s small but it delivers. The sandbox and water feature keep under-5s busy for ages, and the tire swing is almost always occupied by someone who doesn’t want to give it up. There’s a decent climbing structure with a slide for when they need to burn off more energy. Shade trees make it bearable on warmer days, and parking nearby means you’re not dragging a buggy halfway across Swindon. Best for the under-12 crowd, and honestly one of the tidier spots in the area.
