Hurst Close play area

Honestly one of the better-kept play areas in Tarporley — the equipment actually gets looked after, which makes a difference. You’ve got the usual slides and swings, but also a zip line, tire swing, merry go round, and a proper climbing structure, so kids aren’t bored after five minutes. The space opens out into big grass fields that are great for a kickaround or letting younger ones just run, and there’s a bike track and circular walking path if you want to keep moving. Picnic tables and parking make it easy for a longer visit, and being tucked into a quiet neighbourhood means it doesn’t get overwhelming on weekends. Genuinely suits everyone from toddlers to older kids, which isn’t something you can say about every local park.
