The bike track keeps older ones busy while younger children do their thing, and the whole setup works well for a proper family afternoon rather than a quick stop. There’s parking and toilets on site, which always matters more than people admit. Walk five minutes and you’re along the canal, so it’s easy to stretch the visit out if everyone’s still got energy.
