H.M.S Raleigh Playing Fields

Tied to the Royal Navy base just up the road, these playing fields have that distinctly military-adjacent feel — neat, no-nonsense, and kept in genuinely good nick. The grass on the football pitch is properly looked after, which isn’t something you can say about every public pitch around Torpoint. It’s a no-frills setup, but that’s kind of the point — you come here to actually play, not mess about. The Sea Cadets connection gives it a bit of character too, if you’re into that sort of local history.
