Wigginton Playground

If you’re local to Tring, you probably already know about this one. The fenced area makes it genuinely relaxed for parents with little ones — kids aged 2 to 11 have plenty to keep them busy between the slides, swings, and climbing structure, and you can actually see them the whole time. Picnic tables and shade trees mean you’re not just standing around squinting into the sun. What really makes it worth the trip is the setting — trails and forest nearby mean you can stretch the day out properly, and there’s a decent cafe close enough that a coffee stop isn’t out of the question. A proper little gem of a village playground.
