Memorial Ground Playground

Right next to the beach and a short walk from Watchet’s little train station, this one’s a proper local gem that doesn’t get enough credit. The swings keep younger kids happy while the open grass and soccer field give older ones room to burn off energy. Shade trees and benches mean you can actually sit and watch the sea rather than hovering awkwardly with nowhere to park yourself. The views out towards the water are genuinely worth the trip on their own — pick a clear day and you won’t regret it.
