Moneyhole Lane Park

If you’re local to Welwyn Garden City and haven’t been to Moneyhole Lane yet, you’re missing out. The play area is properly enclosed, which makes a huge difference when you’ve got little ones — slides, swings, and a climbing structure keep kids from 2 up to around 12 genuinely occupied. Beyond the playground, there’s loads of open grass to kick a ball around, and the walking paths that edge into the woods are brilliant for burning off energy after a picnic. Bring lunch and use the picnic tables, there’s decent shade from the trees and parking’s straightforward. It’s one of those spots that works for a quick weekday visit or a proper slow Sunday out.
