Ashcombe Park Playground

Ashcombe Park is one of those proper old Victorian parks that Weston actually does really well — the kind of place where you can kill a whole afternoon without really trying. The playground suits older kids who’d turn their nose up at toddler stuff, and there’s enough open grass around for a kickabout or just sprawling on a picnic blanket. Grab a coffee from the cafe and you’ve got yourself sorted. Tennis courts are there if your lot fancy a knockabout, and the walking path means parents can actually move around rather than just standing watching. It’s kept in decent nick too, which honestly isn’t something you can take for granted with public parks round here.
