If you’re local to Weymouth and haven’t taken the kids here yet, you’re genuinely missing out. The swans basically wander past your feet — especially during feeding time, when there are hundreds of them and it gets properly chaotic in the best way. There’s a maze that keeps little ones occupied for longer than you’d expect, plus solid walking paths through the reed beds if you want to stretch your legs properly. The lake adds a nice backdrop to the whole thing, and there are picnic tables if you’d rather bring your own lunch than queue at the cafe. Parking’s easy, loos are on site — it’s one of those places that works for literally every age group without feeling like it’s trying too hard.
