One of the more thoughtful spots in Whitchurch, this playground actually gets the accessibility side of things right — the inclusive swings for kids with disabilities aren’t an afterthought, they’re properly integrated. Families with little ones of all ages seem to gravitate here, and there’s decent seating so parents aren’t hovering awkwardly. The walking and bike paths add a bit of variety, and the nearby pond gives it a proper outdoorsy feel rather than just a patch of tarmac with equipment on it. It’s well-kept and feels genuinely looked after, which makes a difference.
