Morval Parish Play Park

Tucked away in Widegates, this little parish playground punches above its weight for such a quiet corner of Cornwall. The zipline tends to be the first thing kids spot and the last thing they want to leave, but there’s also a solid climbing structure, slides, and swings to keep the 2–12 crowd busy for a good stretch. Younger ones aren’t an afterthought here either — the toddler-friendly setup means you’re not constantly hovering. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables make it genuinely worth staying a while, and the whole place is kept in decent nick, which isn’t always a given with rural parish parks.
