The model engineers run ride-on trains around a proper track — we’re talking a tunnel, a steam railway, the works — all kept in great shape by a crew of enthusiastic volunteers who clearly love what they do. It’s tucked into Wimborne Minster and has enough open grass and walking space that adults can stretch their legs while the little ones inevitably demand another lap. A small donation keeps it going, which feels entirely fair for what you get. Genuinely one of those local gems that doesn’t get nearly enough attention.
