If you live in Witney and have kids under ten, you’ve probably already spent a full afternoon here without planning to. The splash pad is the real draw in summer — kids just gravitate to it — but the climbing structure keeps them busy long before and after the water comes on. It’s properly fenced, which makes a difference when you’ve got a three-year-old who thinks they’re faster than they are, and there’s decent shade from the trees if you grab a picnic table early enough. The football pitch and open grass field mean older kids don’t feel like they’ve been dragged somewhere babyish, and there’s parking and toilets on site so you’re not rationing everyone’s drinks.
